Justin was born and raised in Charleston, West Virginia amonst the hills, hollows, and halcyon. After a year of studying computer science at West Virginia State University, Justin became a hopeless romantic and changed his major to communications so that he could study filmmaking instead. He went on to obtain a master's degree in film cinematography from the Northern Film School in Leeds, England.

 

Currently, Justin works as a partner in Mountain Craft Collective, a production company based in Fairmont, WV. He specializes in the acquisition of moving images, quality control,  and color correction. Justin is also a certified editor and has some experience as an on-set digital image technician as well.

 

Justin has worked on projects that have screened at film festivals all over the world and you can find his name in the credits on shows that have aired on CNN, CMT, and The National Geographic Channel.
